03.28.13 : engagements

On our last trip down to Florida we met up with Angela and Travis at their old stomping grounds on the campus of the University of Florida to shoot their engagement session. Not only did we get to hang out with these two but they brought along their pup Teddy for a few shots too. We explored the campus together and ended the session at the Baughman Center where Travis proposed. The light was golden and the shoot ended just as the sun began to dip below the trees. It was perfect. Angela and Travis we hope you two love these. Can’t wait for your May wedding!

We were back in Florida just a couple weeks ago shooting Tonia & Jay’s gorgeous St. Petersburg wedding. The sunshine and warm breezes greeted us and made it an amazing day to get married. It truly was one of those days that lets you know why Florida can be so intoxicating. This sweet couple has been planning their wedding for quite some time and at long last they said their vows in front of their closest family and friends while overlooking the waters of Tampa Bay. We took pictures around the beautiful St. Petersburg Vinoy, and the bay front area then ended the night celebrating these two at Nova 535. Tonia and Jay we loved every minute we spent with you. Mellissa & Matt’s Casa Feliz Engagement Session | Casa Feliz Wedding Photographer

Oh how I love this session and these two beautiful people. Mellissa & Matt met up with us on a stormy afternoon in Orlando and fell so easily into their engagement session that it all felt as effortless as breathing. We traipsed all around the Casa Feliz grounds with these guys and ended our time together just minutes before the sky opened up and rain came barreling down. It was absolutely perfect timing. Bradford and I cannot wait for their gorgeous destination wedding at Sea Island this summer. From what Mellissa has told me and from the beautiful Save the Date I got a peek at I know it is going to be incredible.

How is it we’ve taken a trillion pictures of our sweet baby boy and only blogged one actual post about him and his adorableness? Tragic is what that is. So here are a few more from the very first few days of our little bug’s life. Looking at him now it is hard to believe he was so tiny and squishy. I love our alert rolling over three month old but oh how I miss these first days and how cuddly he was. Time is already flying by too quickly for this mama.
