Meet Bonnie & Jason. These two wildlife and nature enthusiasts met us in beautiful St. Simons Island, GA a couple of weeks ago for their engagement session. The scenic beaches and rural state parks were the perfect setting for these two. They both love the outdoors and have worked in wildlife management for years. We shot amongst the ruins of Ft. Frederica, explored some of the surrounding marsh and ended by shooting along the beach during sunset. It really doesn’t get much better than that!
Both Bonnie and Jason are such sweet and gentle people, we instantly connected with them. I know I say this so often, but we really are blessed with incredible couples who we just can’t help falling in love with. That is one part of our job that never gets old. Next month, we will be spending the weekend in Sapelo Island, GA with these two for their wedding. It’s a rural barrier island not too far from St. Simons that you can only get to by foot ferry. This means no cars allowed… just us and our gear. We are really excited to spend time getting to know their families and capturing such a special day in their lives. Here are some of my favorite images from their engagement session. Thank you Bonnie & Jason for taking time out of your spring break to spend the day with us. See you in a few weeks!
