Kelly & Randy got married this past Saturday at the Casa Marina Hotel in Jacksonville Beach. Way back in early March, we met up with them in one of their favorite areas of town to shoot some engagement photos. These two love birds, or love ravens might be more appropriate since they are big fans of Edgar Allen Poe, met on Valentine’s Day at the art gallery where Randy worked as the curator. Sparks flew at the charity kissing booth, but it wasn’t until a few weeks later that their relationship really took flight. Fast forward one year and Randy was asking Kelly to spend her life with him. They are a perfect match and their chemistry is evident from the minute you meet them. Randy melts when he is holding Kelly and he has a way of making her laugh so whole heartedly you know they are speaking a love language all their own. We really enjoyed getting to know them during this shoot. Kelly brought along some of her favorite vintage cameras for us to play with as well. She is a photography teacher and she loves to shoot in a style that reflects eras long past. I love all the little things about this session that are so personal to them as a couple. Kelly also loves to crochet and actually made the Americana inspired blanket they are snuggling in on the beach. Randy grew up surfing and he felt right at home next to the ocean and local hangout Pete’s Bar. Snuggly beach shoot, a fun loving couple, beautiful sunlight, what more could we ask for. We hope you enjoy these images and can’t wait to share some of the beauties from their wedding soon.
Kelly & Randy… we hope you’re enjoying an amazing honeymoon!
