Last month Bonnie & Jason had the most beautiful wedding on the rural and secluded Sapelo Island, GA. Brad and I were there to capture everything… including the rehearsal dinner the night before. Although the temperatures dropped into the low 50’s and the wind’s were making it colder than it should have been for April in Georgia, everyone had a wonderful time. The food was authentic and delicious. Low country boil, key lime pie and mason jars filled with the yummiest sweet tea were served. The speeches were so touching that even I had tears in my eyes. Jason’s family did a beautiful job of decorating the beach pavilion and entertaining everyone that night. I hope you all enjoy some snippets from their rehearsal dinner and I can’t wait to share their beautiful wedding with you all tomorrow!
It was so unexpectedly cold that everyone had brought blankets to cuddle up in during dinner. Brad and I actually had to stop and buy me some extra pants just before getting on the ferry because I hadn’t packed warm enough clothing. I’m so glad I had some extra pants that evening since I had planned on wearing a dress that night.
This is my favorite blankie shot of the night!
Transportation for the evening.
