Just a few short weeks ago we had the pleasure of shooting this beautiful beach wedding for New Yorkers, Christine and Joey. This hilarious and wildly fun couple planned their destination wedding at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, mostly site unseen and I have to say it turned out spectacular. Not only did they get perfect weather… (yes truly perfect weather… low 80′s and no humidity… in FLORIDA… that is nearly unheard of…) but everything they envisioned from the setting, to the food to the entertainment came together perfectly. There was so much laughter throughout the day and you could feel such great energy from everyone in attendance. The feasting tables on the ocean lawn made the the perfect setting for a family style dinner to kick off the night and the Blue Stone Circle band kept the party going with some of my absolute favorite songs from the 90′s. This was the first wedding I have ever been to that a band sang a rendition of Coolio’s Gangsta’s Paradise! Seriously… that was just icing on the cake for this fantastic wedding. The night ended with a gourmet s’mores bar and and friends gathering around the fire pit in the moonlight. It truly was a spectacular affair. Christine and Joey, it was a pleasure getting to capture these moments for you. May all your days together as husband and wife be filled with as much love and laughter as your wedding day was. We hope you enjoy this little preview of the photos yet to come.
