Abby & Adrian are one of the sweetest couples we have ever had the pleasure of working with. We met them years ago when Abby contacted me to shoot graduation photos for her and Adrian as they graduated from the University of Florida. We had such a good time running around campus with them and were sad to say goodbye when our shoot ended. Lucky for us, that session was just the beginning of our time with these guys. It was about a year after that first meeting when Abby called to say she was getting married and wanted us to be there to capture it all. We were so excited to spend more time with this beautiful couple. We shot an early morning St. Augustine engagement session with them and by the time their wedding rolled around we were truly in the company of old friends. We loved all the tradition that these guys incorporated into their wedding day. Abby even wore her mother’s wedding dress and it fit her beautifully. The ceremony took place at the opulent Cathedral Basilica in St. Augustine and was rich with Filipino traditions. Afterwards, guests walked down the block to the historic Casa Monica Hotel where they danced the night away and celebrated in this sweet couple’s love. Emotions were running high and we even got a little teary eyed during all the toasts especially when Adrian graciously thanked us. Our hearts absolutely melted. The pure joy from everyone involved was inspiring and we had just as much fun as everyone else in attendance. We loved the groom’s cake and if you look closely you will see their initials “carved” into the dock. Adrian loves to fish and what better way to incorporate his alma mater and his hobby into one killer groom’s cake? Kate Hall did a great job of pulling all their mementos and details together to give their wedding a very personal feel and keeping the day running seamlessly. It is truly a joy to have this job that allows us to celebrate in some of the most incredible moments in peoples lives. We get to know so many amazing couples and Abby & Adrian are one of them. Thank you guys for having us share in so many of the momentous occasions in your lives. We hope to be there for many more. You are both incredible and we are happy to call you our friends. Lots of love to you both!
Just a few of the vendors that helped make their day so lovely.
